The actions banning father's from walking their daughters down the aisle doesn't surprise me. The rebellion against the biblical mandate for female submission in general and a hatred for the Fifth Commandment in particluar has intensified greatly in recent times.
It's a part of the Genesis Curse--and will always be a source of rebellion for some!
